The files Aciera_mill_uses_x.jpg show a couple of engines I made with the assistance of my Aciera F-2 milling machine. "wiz" over on the Deckel forum of the Practical Machinist website http://www.practicalmachinist.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php/forum/6.html wondered whether anyone actually used their European style mills. As you can see, I use mine. I also used my "Clausport", which is a Clausing 8520 body with a Bridgeport M head, a nice home shop machine, too. It may not have quite the fit and finish of the Aciera, but it is eminently useable, as evidenced by the worldwide popularity of Bridgeport style vertical mills.
