BRBS Beaudry repair parts are pieces I've had to make to replace the missing "crank shaft"... the shaft that lifts and throws the hammer arm. I found the brass sleeve on ebay, so machined the parts to fit, as it would have cost me more to make than it sold for. The nut was machined from the only round piece I had laying around that was big enough. The other parts are all from a 4.5" bar I bought. It is supposed to be 1018, but might be 3140. No one was sure and the paint labeling was ambiguous. This is the first time I've done any significant boring, and the first time I ever did internal threads. They are 5 tpi on 2", and the shaft is 2.5". The ruler in the pictures is a standard 6" machinist rule for scale.
