How to fit a large object on the Bridgeport
Bore a hole in a 24” diameter 55gal drum on the Bridgeport
Drum secured with ratchet straps over the top. Wood blocks under the table to keep the strap off the lead screw
Angle plate on the rear with a ratchet strap to keep the drum from being pushed off the table
Belt housing swung so switch won't hit the drum
BP 90 degree head with boring bar installed
Rough hole with hole saw
Finished hole with boring bar.
THIS is why I like my BP!
