Here is a very clean later model Hendey 12x30 (actual swing more like 14” plus) Tool room lathe with very rare hard ways in near perfect condition, plus the rare 18 speed (19-1000rpm) headstock, and D1-5 spindle, 1.5” hole. Bearings and runout on spindle are perfect, gears in headstock are very very nice and robust. All is tight and good, no tooling except a beat up 3 jaw chuck it does not have a taper attachment, but had one at one time as the cross-slide is that style. There are problems with the pick-off gears on the quadrant, but easily fixed by a competent machinist/mechanic. I will offer it first as is, and, if no takers soon, will fix it properly and raise the price accordingly, The price as it sits is $2000. Of course we can run it under power, and, knowing me, I will tear intothe quadrant gear problem right away……….So, ask questions if interested: efficientvelo@aol.com Brett Flemming Vancouver, WA 360-896-6462
