Here are some pictures of the "meister" DRO mounted on my 
Macmon M100 mill, a swiss Deckel FP1-clone. Luckily there 
was just enough room to mount the x-axis scale behind the 
plane of the table mounting face, while still retaining 
full functionality of the x-axis dogs. I had to mill a 
recess in the feed rod for the reading head of the scale.

The "meister" DRO is sold on Ebay from Singapore. Very 
generic, but exellent value.
