The history of the machines is that they were purchased new in 1975 for a high school shop in a town with a population less than 5k. The machines were placed in service for the 1976 school year and maintained by a machine repair shop when needed. The machines were not used from 1988 to 1990 and again from 1992 to 1996 and permanently taken out of service in 1997. Minimal tooling is supplied,which include a tailstock drill chuck, a live center, and a few tool holders. Assistance with arranging local delivery is available.
