Gothic Doorknocker

This is a replica of a doorknocker that can be found on p107 of
de'Allemagne "Decorative Antique Ironwork". 

Everything is held together with a few blind rivets. The back plate is
two pieces of 16 gauge, with the backmost one pierced with a jeweler's
saw, and the one over it pierced with a chisel (and a bunch of
filing). 

I tell people that I'm going to make it into a cat door.
