These are some pics of a mill that I bought recently.  It is a RF-45,
dovetail column mini bedmill.  It has a gearhead, with forward and reverse.
 Right now, I am in the process of converting it to CNC control.  We have
had a long discussion of this machine on the CAD/CAM/EDM/DRO mailing list
