Ted provided the following description: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I built myself a lifting frame based on a design by Ronald E. Thompson which can be downloaded from from http://www.datasync.com/~ronthomp/Liftingframe.htm I wanted a somewhat smaller, lighter unit so here's my version. The U-channel on the feet is made by slitting an 18" piece of 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 3/16" square tube. The strange block on layer 11 is the layout for cutting the ends of the 1 1/2" pipe cross bar to fit the 2" pipe horns. Cut out one pattern and wrap it around the end of the 1 1/2" pipe so things line up. You can cut through the paper with a plasma cutter but for O/A cutting, you should center punch each place the curve crosses the vertical lines (the paper wouldn't last long under a cutting torch). I added pins to lock the cross bar to the uprights. I found this made the unit safer and easier to errect and take down, especially when being done by one person.
