John provided the following description: ================================================================= I have a 6" centre hight ,[12" swing ] by 36" lathe I wish to get rid off completely free of charge. This was a CNC centre lathe as opposed to a turret lathe that I took the controller off to replace it with a more modern one. Since then I have decided that I need to move more with CNC millers and not lathes hence parting with this one. It's in very good condition, ex college. It still has the ball screws and nuts intact and the servo motors but no other drive electrics. Main power is by a 5Hp motor driving and electric [24v] 9 speed gearbox and three geared ranges in the head. Tailstock is 3MT Spindle is DIN5 and 5MT. Through hole is 38mm. Weight about 1500Kg. It will strip off the cabinet and I have crane and fork lift loading. I need to move this as quickly as possible as I need the space for a new CNC miller.
