FILENAMES: cnclath1.jpg cnclath2.jpg DESCRIPTION: These are pictures of a CNC lathe for which poster seeks information. Posted by Bob Bachman . Bob provided the following description: ================================================================= Files: cnclathe.txt - this file cnclath1.jpg - front view cnclath2.jpg - rear view --------------------------------------------------- Looking for help to identify the manufacturer of this little cnc lathe. No name, serial number, etc. All I have is what is in the pictures. It will swing 6" over the ways and 2.5" over the cross slide. About 13" between centers. The screws holding it together are fractional, not metric. The spindle motor is a dc permant magnet with a built in tach made by SEM - specs: 4000 rpm, 80 volts, 7.5 amps. There also an rotary encoder driven by a cog belt from the spindle. Encoder info: Sokki Electronics Corp., Rotary Scale, JR 105 A 1000C, No. 5X6095. The spindle has a thru hole .91" dia., about a 30 degree included angle in the bore, 2.25 dia. x .10 mounting ring with three tapped holes in its face. The machine is well built from cast iron. Doesn't look "home-made". Any info will be appreciated. Thanks, Bob
