(Ted) Edwards Ted_E@Telus.net Attached are pix of a precision level using a surplus vial. See LEVELA.JPG and LEVELB.JPG The base is 6" x 2" x 1/2" thick aluminum. The vial is supported at one end by a ball and socket. The other end is supported by a 10-32 adjustment bolt, spring and washer. The uprights are attached to the base with 4-40 flat head cap screws. A reasonably carefull measurement of sensitivity gave 0.043 degrees per division.
