FILENAMES: Water_tig_1.jpg Water_TIG_2.jpg DESCRIPTION: This a diagram and a photo of an adapter for connecting a water cooled TIG torch to a welder. Posted by Ernie Leimkuhler . Ernie provided the following description: ================================================================= Here is an attached image of the setup. You can get the funny camlock fitting from whoever sold you the machine. They cost about $30. Pull off the outer plastic cover to get to the brass. You could steal the one off of your existing air-cooled torch, but I prefer to keep the air cooled torch as a backup. Gas and water fitting have the same thread, but water is a left hand thread while gas is a right hand thread. I had my setup on my Econotig for 4 years, and it worked great. You can either use a legitimate TIG water cooler, build your own water cooler with a pump and bucket, or just use your shop sink, like I do. Let me know if this comes through.
