Sterling Kenneth provided the following description: =============================================================== Wpress1.jpg is a photo of the entire winepress I have to modify. Wpress2.jpg is the photo of the top of the "pressure screw" design. This is a 7 tpi acme leadscrew. I was planning on installing a bracket above the cast cross member which would retain a small sprocket driven by a gearmotor off to the side of the unit. The leadscrew is 3/4". I was going to bore out the threads in the crossmember, have the sprocket threaded internally so the rotation of the sprocket will force the leadscrew down onto the product. Holding the "T" handle will prevent rotation of the leadscrew. I plan on thrust bearings above and below the sprocket. Problem is threading a 3/4" acme thread 7 tpi in the bore of the sprocket. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks Ken.
