This is a picture of a homemade swinging jib crane. Posted by

This is a homemade swinging jib crane I built for my new workshop 
to lift the machinery onto the rasied section at the back.

 It is similar to the cheap engine cranes, and uses the same 8ton 
long stroke bottle jack to raise and lower the boom. Lifts half a 
tone at he end of the arm without problems.
