These are pictures of a bargraph and how it was made. Posted by

These pics show the construction of some LED  bargraph instrument 
displays for an experimental automotive instrument panel. They will 
read out system voltage, amp flow, oil pressure, oil temperature, 
coolant temperature, fuel pressure and fuel level.

pic1: Acid etching the  display circuit boards

pic2: A modelling plastic jig for aligning and holding the LEDs

pic3: attaching a display board to the LED stack

pic4: Removal of the assembly from the jig

pic5: A completed LED display board

pic6: The prototype driver module, and 5 completed display boards.
