Roger provided the following description: ================================================================= Not satisfied with the depthstop on the 4x6 bandsaw I made my own. Two problems with the original: The setscrew was chewing up the 1/2" rod and bar stock would jam between the stop and the blade, causing the blade to jump off the wheels. I made mine to clamp onto the rod and have the actual stop detach from the clamp during the cut without disturbing its' position. I can now finish the cut and reinsert the stop into the clamp to set up the next cut.
