FILENAMES: kenmill1.JPG kenmill2.JPG DESCRIPTION: These are pictures of a milling machine with three phase converter. Posted by Kenneth W. Sterling . Kenneth provided the following description: ================================================================= These 2 files show both sides of my "new to the 50's decade / new to me" Bridgeport Vertical Mill. Filenames are kenmill1.jpg which shows the right frontal view showing the three-phase converter stop/start button box on the wall behind the mill (just above the view of the power feed on the table). Looking closely at the wall directly behind the mill you can see the converter electronics in an old fusepanel box which measures 12 x 20 inches. Directly behind the mill, sitting on a rubber pad is the 5 HP 3ph idler motor. The Rotary table is also a new purchase, although I had to settle for an import as I'm just starting out, but to compensate, I did buy a Clausing Milling vise. (Not yet arrived) The file kenmill2.jpg is a picture of the left frontal view. Outlet on wall powers the table feed and the worklight (which came with the mill). Knee handle intentionally turned around. I will enjoy.... :) Ken.
