Greetings from the great white north!!
I recently purchased a Watts 12" precision block level. It is in need of
some attention (base needs scraping) and it needs to be adjusted for zero.
I have put a picture of it in the drop box
http://www.metalworking.com/dropbox/watts%20level.jpg
Is there anyone out there who can enlighten me as to the correct
procedure to do this ?
The level has what appear to be two adjustments:
* one just below the cover near the r/h side with a screwdriver slot
(has a flat end and looks like it may push on the side of the vial)
* the other adjustment is almost directly below the other with a hex
socket (uses a special key that came with the level) this is on a
slant and appears to lift the end of the vial .
Can anyone tell me how to get the fasteners out of the cover?
Does anyone know if Watts is still in business? where?
Thanks for the help
