The 4 pictures are of a small Horizontal Mill I recently acquired at an 
estate auction.

It has Whitney Mfg. Co. Hartford, Conn cast in the door of the base and 
"No. 6" on the body as shown in picture whitney_mill4.jpg.  The only 
reference I can find on the net is to "the purchase of the rights to the 
Whitney Mill in 1934" by the Nichols Machine Co which was acquired itself 
by parker Hannafin in 1984.

whitney_mill2.jpg shows the table mechanism
whitney_mill3.jpg shows the milling head.
whitney_mill4.jpg shows the markings on the base.

I have not yet been able to find any serial number .

Any information would be much appreciated.
