FILENAMES: Bed_attach_1.JPG Bed_attach_2.JPG DESCRIPTION: These are pictures of parts of a lathe tracer attachment. Posted by Rob gradstdnt . The following description was provided: ================================================================= I put a couple of pictures on the dropbox that are of an attachment on the back of a lathe I just aquired. It looks like a taper attachment of sorts but isn't. It's an alumnium extrustion with two mounts onto the back of the lathe bed. One mount close to the headstock end has a fine adjust knurled hand wheel that seems to precisely align the rail to be bed. The travel in the fine adjust is probably only 1/4 inch, if that. Anyone have a clue what it might have been used for??? ----------------------------------- Agree with Andrew, the brackets are definitely Hepworth copy attachment brackets. I have a pair kicking about if anyone in the UK wants them. The rest of it looks like a short DRO was fitted. Regards,Mark
