Posted by Carl Young . The following description was provided: ================================================================= Burke #4 Horizontal Mill Restoration. The accompaning pictures are a short recap of my restoration of this mill. I have adapted a Bridgeport "M" Head to the overarm support. The M head was 3 ph, which resulted in makeing my first 3ph converter. The pictures are sequential, arriving home to almost completed. The old seal system was replaced with current rubber type seals. It was just a matter of turning a couple of brass pieces to fit. It is running rather nicely, as a vertical mill, have not yet had the need for the horizontal capability, yet. Thanks for viewing.
