FILENAMES: Gearsha1.jpg Gearsha2.jpg Gearsha3.jpg DESCRIPTION: These are picture of a gear shaper that owner need help with. Posted by Bruce Kultgen . The following description was provided: ================================================================= I haven’t been able to find any info on this machine: it’s a Hugo Bilgram. I assume it’s a strait and/or spiral bevel gear shaper In photo 1; The red & black highlighted box is what I believe is the tooth profile duplicator (there are a dozen or so of these from 40 degrees to 10 degrees; and there is a shim screwed on this.) the yellow highlighted box is the indexing and tooth cutting advance. The blue highlighted box is the tool bit on the end of the ram. In photo 2 the red highlighted box is the profile duplicator In photo 3; The white highlighted box is where the blank gear bolts on. The highlighted green boxes are the drives for the swivel gear in the yellow highlighted box. The green box on the left side of the pic has all kinds of numbers on it, but is barely in pic. The top drive is attached to the other end of what the gear blank is attached and drives; indexing gears, of which there are a couple a dozen. (refer to photo 1 ,yellow highlighted box) Notice the bolt in photo 1 , down and to the right of the blue highlighted box, seems to swivel the back fixture up and down. ANY comments will be appreciated. Bruce Kultgen
