The following description was provided: ================================================================= The approx. 1910 Pratt & Whitney planer lives again. Sorry , I always forget to take before pictures. It worked the first time that I tried it ! I bought it for $145 and was mostly disassembled. It was alot of fun putting strange parts together and got two new scarres from it. The envelope is approx. 33" X 13" X 13". Somebody has got to know what the thing on the platten is , its been bugging me for some time now. The helical cut in it turns twice in 3' . I also don't see what the 4 bars are for also. All I need next is more bolts and parts to hold work down , that and some bits. Now I can start hunting for really big metal chunks to follow me home. This thing is going to help out big time on those parts that were a dead end for me cause I didn't have a machine with enough travel. By the size of the swarf that I pull out of it , this thing is going to be a blast to play with. Once I got it going I looked over at my 7-8" shaper and it was shaking in the corner. I wonder how close to Vegas I can get some iron casting done. I've been doing back flips since I got it and now double back flips that it actually works ! :o) laughing in the sunshine , singing in the rain
