This Excel spreadsheet can be used to calculate SFM, Feed rate etc


When you run it it will ask you if you want to enable macros (if your
security level is medium in Excel) - the macro rezeroes the fields (but it
will still work OK even if you disable it).

To use it enter some values on the top five fields (DIAM, RPM, #teeth,
feed/tooth, feed rate)

Depending on which fields you enter the appropriate calculations will be
made

ie: if you enter DIAM + RPM -> you get SFM
FR, In/T, #teeth, -> RPM
RPM, FR, #teeth -> In/T
RPM, In/T, #teeth -> FR

Note that if you enter an RPM value at the same time as FR, In/RT and
#teeth, the entered RPM may not coincide with the calculated RPM required -
therefore only enter the known parameters (or required ones, and let the
program calculate the rest)
