The following description was provided: ================================================================= This is my toolbit grinding fixture used on a surface grinder. The surface grinder puts a much keener edge on the bit than a pedistal grinder. Also, if coolant is available, the fingers and the toolbit are spared all the heat. One side of the fixture grinds thread cutting toolbits perfectly on center and includes clearance angles. Toolbits can be aligned visually in the lathe so center gages are not necessary.
