The following description was provided: ================================================================= Some day I'll dig up and post pictures of a couple old cupolas in the woods of Kentucky. It was in in a state forest, you had to drive down 30 miles of gravel and dirt roads to get there. When you did, you had to walk down a path to even see them. It was like discovering Chichenitza. These giant stone pyramids in the middle of the woods. Apparently they built them there, not so much for proximity to the ore, but because there was plenty of wood there to make charcoal. They used a steam engine to provide the blast. This is my brother standing in front of one The red stuff is the omnipresent grafitti. Paul K. Dickman Cupolaky.jpg
