This is a so called "Fire Eater" engine designed by Philip Duclos. 
I got the plans for this engine in a book called Steam & Stirling Engines 2
published by Village Press. The engine runs pretty good once it warms up.
To give you an idea of the size, the brass tank is made from a door knob and
the flywheel is 3 3/8" dia.
