The following description was provided: ================================================================= Hi All Just a few pic's of the Jenix DRO unit that I mounted to my RF30 type Mill/drill. It worx beautifully!!! Jenix-dro-arm.jpg The arm which supports the read out. It has three joints which allows it to be placed in many different positions, to the left or right of the machine. Jenix-new-cover.jpg Picture left is the new front cover made to attach the scale for the z-axis. Picture middle is the surface ground back plate to which the scale is attached. Jenix-x-axis.jpg The x-axis scale is mounted to the back of the table. It is covered by an aluminium angle protector. Jenix-y-axis.jpg Y-axis scale is mounted to a plate which is attached to the "Y-table". An aluminium angle cover, covers the top of the scale to protect it from possible damage. Jenix-z-axis.jpg Shows the shaft which is attached to the slider of the scale. The collar just below the slider attachment plate is an ajustable depth stop. Jenix-z-bracket.jpg The z-axis plate mounted to the machine before the scale is attached. Note the new housing for the power switch. My original plan was to mount the scale on the side of the machine, but this would have led to making complicated brackets so I opted for a newly designed front. Regards Colin.
