These are pictures of a giant protractor.

The following description was provided:

The protractor set up is for an airplane elevator template.     

The template rests on the tail section of a small airplane 
to measure elevator movement. Attaching 1/4" lexan to a 
rotary table, then attaching the protractor made the protractor 
blank to the lexan.      

A block of aluminum is under the lexan to support it while 
doing the engraving.
