Posted by Philip Procter . The following description was provided: ================================================================= These five photo's depict a set up that my father rigged up for gear cutting on an Alexander Master Toolmaker milling machine. The machine is a copy of the Deckel FP1. I have a Mikron 112 gear hobber but it only does up to about five inches in diameter, this will do larger wheels and was used to make extra changewheels for the Mikron and the Myford super seven. The pencil in one of the photo's is an essential part of the kit and is used for spending endless hours working out the gear train required !!
