The two pictures, RiserHS.jpg and RiserTS.JPG are feet to increase the height of my Graziano lathe to compensate for a commercial pallet system that elevates the operating position such that one does not stand in chips. The angle iron clips on each of the feet pin the pallet assembly in place so it doesn't wander about. The primary purpose, however, is to display a suggested method of raising a lathe for a more convenient operating height. The recess for the leveling screw keeps the pad from slipping out from under the machine. Pads are made of 3" schedule 40 pipe with 1/2" thick steel plates welded top and bottom, with the bottom plate larger in diameter to discourage tipping. The ones shown in the photos have been in service since 1967, so they are tried and proven to be a good way to mount the lathe. Harold
