FILENAMES: VentTent.JPG VentExhaust.JPG DESCRIPTION: These are pictures of a painting enclosure with fume exhause. Posted by Peter T. Keillor III . The following description was provided: ================================================================= These pictures are of a vented enclosure in my basement shop. It's just sticks and plastic, with a 300 cfm blower in the crawl space adjacent which exhausts outside my house under the deck. I'll use it to control styrene and paint fumes while refinishing my mill. Later, the blower will power local elephant trunk vents to control cutting oil, solder, or model paint fumes. The pictures are: VentTent.jpg -- the tent. Notice the vents on the bottom for air inlet. Screen door hardware. VentExhaust.jpg -- inlet to blower. The stick and plastic duct draws air from floor level. Styren fumes are heavier than air. Pete Keillor
