FILENAMES: bracket1.jpg bracket2.jpg DESCRIPTION: These are pictures of a Logan shaper motor bracket. Posted by Ken Sterling . The following description was provided: ================================================================= This is a picture of the broken motor mount bracket for a Logan 7" Shaper. The bracket is cast iron, with a through hole, used for a pivot point, and a small "ear" for one of the adjusting setscrews to bear against to maintain tension on the belt drive. The motor simply bolts down through the 4 threaded holes. A friend has welded this for me, and so far it appears to be holding very well - (I know his work and I expected this to be okay) - but wouldn't mind finding a "backup" bracket for some future time in case this one ever fails.
