Posted by Chris CROSSKEY . The following description was provided: ================================================================= Chris Crosskey's rear toolpost to let a Myford ML7 use a Sandvik 3mm indexable parting off blade. Pictures show the new toolpost from several angles alongside the standard Myford rear toolpost, as you can see it is a lot sturier than the original one, but not as pretty (yet). There are a couple of the toolpost in action parting off a piece of brass, the machine is running in middle open gear (about 350rpm) and took about 30 seconds to part, maybe a bit less. Believe the hype about these parting off tools....they really are God's gift on the subject.
