The following description was provided: ================================================================= Here are some pictures of items at the 6 Sept 2003 Federal Property Agency auction in Huron, SD. - J Waldby Picture Description feda-doall -- Item #417, "BAND SAW, DoAll, metal cutting, floor mnt, 1 ea." that sold at $700 feda-misc -- Some miscellaneous items that sold for mostly low prices. I purchased about 1500# of 2"x3"x1/4" angle iron for $15 (more than I expected to pay and right at my limit) and 50 metal shelves for $3. Other people bought about 25 campground fireplaces for $2, and 58 Ford luggage racks for $2. It occurred to me later that the metal frame these are in is worth more than that and maybe I should have bid. feda-tannewitz -- Item #416, "BAND SAW, Tannewitz, 48" table, 7.5 hp electric motor, 1 ea." sold at $900. The buyer plans to use it in his sawmill with a 1.5"-wide blade. feda-leblond -- Item #409, "LATHE, LeBlond, 2516 Heavy Duty, 8' center, 1 ea." sold at $7000. Some very valuable rust there. I didn't see the motor on this. There were a lot of loose wires sticking out of the wiring cabinet on the back. feda-monarch -- Item #414, "LATHE, Monarch, 3' bed, 1 ea." sold at $500.
