These are pictures of a large "housefly" decoration.

The 3' housefly project:

I started with 72' of cold rolled 3/16" round stock and molded a 
frame of a housefly.

I flux cored the framing based on a drawing I found of a housefly. 
Then I covered it with 22gg sheet metal, mig welded the skin over 
the framing using c25 gas with .035 wire. 

A little paint and I mounted it to the top of my mini barn. 

Conversation piece! 

I guess my next project will be a giant fly swatter!
