These are pictures of a magnetic chuck on a grinder.

This is a pix of a grinder we use to
"flatten" grinder knives for meat grinders
which are used for making hamburger.  This uses
a 7" mag chuck, circular, with concentric rings
and an 8" x 3" grinding wheel, straight sided.

This is a picture of the grinder knife sitting
on the mag chuck ready for grinding.  The knife
only gets a light touchup to flatten all four
wings of the knife.  Problem is that there is
not much metal for the mag chuck to grab, and
the knife has to be centered in the mag chuck
for proper rotational grinding/flattening.

This is a pix of the ID plate on the mag chuck
indicating 90Vdc and model number along with the
manufacturers name.
