The following description was provided: ================================================================= I've included photos of Powermatic's Model 87 bandsaw here for reference. Model 87 has a gearbox and direct drive for blade speeds from 47 to 5200 sfm. It is designed for wood and metal cutting and has an integral blade welder. The saw is approx 1000 lbs and uses blades from 149" to 152", 1/16" to 1" wide. The table size is 24 x 24". I installed it into my basement in September 2002. It is very top heavy and weighs about 1000#.
