These pictures are of my attempt at a large (by hobby standards) 15 lbs. lathe bed casting in aluminum, 36" long, 3" wide, supposed to be 3" tall.  They are in chronological order, not really much to say.  Heating up the furnace, melting, cast result.  I have footage of the pour, shake-out and quenching available (woot!).
