The files DuFour arbor boring 1&2 show the setup that I used to bore the arbor support hole. When I received this mill the bushing was sized for a regular arbor spacer at 1 3/4" id. Common running bushings are 1 7/8". The setup was to attach thearbor support to the overarms and then use the table feed to push the overarms backinto the machine casting thereby feeding the arbor support into the boring head in hte machines spindle. Since I could detect no slop in the overarm to the machine casting I figured what better way to get everything properly aligned for the boring job. With new running bushing on the arbor things clock much better. A DTI riding on the table in the Y direction shows that the arbor is parallel with the Y axis travel. Me happy. lg no neat sig line
