I bought a foot-pumped hydraulic cart. It worked OK but I wanted the platform to lift without any effort on my part. The existing cylinder and pump got replaced by a hardware store bottle jack driven by a windshield wiper motor from a junkyard. The wiper motor cost only twenty bucks, so I put a lot more power into it than is advisable. I welded a washer to the pressure release valve of the bottle jack and control it via a lawnmower throttle mounted to the pushbar. The table is powered with a rechargeable 24V battery I had spare. This table will lift 260 lbs from 11.25" to 31.5" in about a minute and a half. HydCartOverview.jpg HydCartLeft.jpg HydCartMech.jpg HydCartRelease.jpg
