Here are some pictures of a Clausing-Colchester 13x40 lathe I bought in March 2004.  It 
is a 1980 model and I had to transport it approx 8 hours back home over the road.

There are some pictures here about how I lifted the lathe with a specialized plate as 
described in the manufacturer's manual, and how I secured the lathe to my rented trailer 
for safe transport home.
