Well...I went and picked it up. The front of the machine, over the connectors for the various torchs says... Cyber-tig 500 DCS A sticker on the machine gives the volts, 230/460, 3 phase 105/56 amps It also says is a model CT-500-DC-S Serial #88WS20502 A silkscreened area says its the Mod 300/500 with the numbers 369542B-6 It appears to be a DC only unit, but it has a section that has some sort of HIGH FREQUENCY adjustment pot and an auto/off switch With the machine was a red box on top...a Thermal Dynamics Mod WC100 Included a foot pedal, most of a Cobra Prince XL spool gun (missing the tip, but filled with aluminum wire....??? a torch that looks something like a tig torch, but has an orfice and based on my research, looks to be a Plasma Torch. This was attached to the red box, which had a control line to the foot pedal and one to the welder. Nothing was attached to the output lugs of the welder itself, though I have a big wad of cables with lugs on the end. The torch was connected with 4 hoses, plasma, sheild, positive, negative. There doesnt appear to be any electical connection. Wierd. Also a BIG Tweeco Mig gun, but the quick connector on the end doesnt match anything on the machine. Any info would be greatly appreciated. gunner@lightspeed.net
