I bought this '75 honda cb360t for $50.00 that was lying on it's side for a couple years outside a friends collision shop. It was missing the gas tank, carbs, and was in pretty rough condition. Ironically, the seat was in great shape. I sold the seat, directionals, lights, gauges, and a few more items on ebay for $250. I bought a set of carbs on ebay for $80.00 (with shipping), and after a little work she actually fired up! The last time it was inspected was in 1986. Once it was running and stopping, (which was the harder part, seems the front master cylinder was like jello inside, and the caliper was seized up) I went to work on the rest. After cutting all the extra unused tabs off the frame, and making a rear fender from the exsisting frame and some .250" round bar, I decided to make this an off road survival style motorcycle. I scored a free gas tank, speedo, and a few odds and ends from a local bike shop that i help out at, and made the seat from and old ripped one i had laying around. I then purchased a set of knobby tires ($100.), off road headlight, and a utility trailer light for the rear, ($20.00), mufflers, ($20.) and paint ($10.) bringing the grand total of the build, around $30. Bike runs great and my yard is getting pretty trashed from them knobbies! I already dumped it once doing wheelies, I dont think old guys should do those. Here is one before pic (actually once it was stripped down and I found the gas tank), and two completed pictures. enjoy walt
