These photos show some simple machinery moving pads I made.  
They are *very* useful for moving things around.  Basically 
they are 4x4 plates with axles, of course, and ball bearings.  
I place rubber pads on top to prevent slipping.  I also have 
a round race so that I can put a simple turntable on top.
