I used 1 1/2 x 1/4 flat stock 18'' long and 5/8 rebar 
to make this wall mounted steel rack for small amounts 
of 20' lengths. I made 3 up and devided them up to span 
a 20' lenght.

The top two are only 3.5" wide  the 3rd down is 4.5" and 
the bottom is 6.5" wide. 

The steel I keep is only a few pieces of 1-2" angle, 
1/2 - 1" sq, and 1 1/2 sq also some flat all in 20' lengths.
