Repairs to a Fiat 124 Clutch Pedal The fingers grip a ferrule on the clutch cable, levering it out when the pedal is depressed. The fingers are way too thin and weak to last long. In pic 01, the front finger is broken off, and the rear finger bent way down as the ferrule pulled out. In pic 02, the broken finger is clamped in place, showing the design position of the fingers. Pic 03 pic shows the repair part I fabbed up. Pic 04 shows it's placement for welding on the clutch pedal. Pic 05, another view.
