Here is my edm project.   The power supply 
was made from instructions in a book, "Build 
An EDM", written by Robert Langlois.   The machine 
itself is my own design.  Table and saddle rides 
on PACIFIC BEARINGS and  1/2" Thompson shafting. 
 
I used a 90v dc gearmotor controlled by an Allen 
Bradley, PLC, to raise and lower the electrode 
automatically.   When the depth is reached, the 
electrode raises and shuts down the machine.
