This part has been hanging in the rafters of my garage for decades- 
I think it goes with an early Ford, and I'd like to get it
to someone who can use it - The casting has the number 40-3032 in it.
The bright green ruler is an 8 inch ruler. 
This looks too light to be a spindle - anyone know what it is?
